The Weaver Ski Club is the oldest affiliated BWSW Ski Club in the North West with a thriving & vibrant full boat owning family membership, plus a waiting list, to which new potential Members who either have or will purchase a suitable boat can apply. We also have many active Associate Members who are linked to Members boats, with further availability for budding new skiers of all ages and abilities to try out the sport. We have a modern riverside Clubhouse located near Frodsham Cheshire on the semi tidal side of the River Weaver marshes where water skiing is available on just over 1 mile of river which incorporates a slalom course. Ski boat access is strictly limited to Members, with no public or non-member launching possible, although the river can be viewed from the extensive club grounds where they run parallel to a local public footpath and the club is very much part of the community. Family-owned ski boats are a small part of our club who happily share the facilities and access to the water with other Club Members who sail, canoe, kayak, paddle-board amongst the abundant local wildlife. We are considered a Community Club who also entertain Group Membership, including the Frodsham 3rd Sea Scouts, and other local groups on occasion Ski Boat Memberships do become available and any interested party should contact the Club via email to register their interest: info@greyoaklogistics.com or via the Weaver website message board: www.weaversailandski.com The membership secretary will always reply to applications & suitable candidates who either own or confirm use of a suitable boat will then be added to the waiting list. Please note - This small stretch of water and the associated habitat is unsuitable for either Jet skis or large wakeboard boats. - Membership Applicants must reapply at the start of each calendar year to remain on the waiting list. This is to reconfirm their interest and that their contact details are unchanged Where applications are not reconfirmed each year, applicants’ details will then be deleted to comply with GDPR, and also on the assumption of that they no longer share an interest in joining the Club.
