BWSW is hosting a Level 2 Waterski and Wakeboard female coaching course at Dams Watersports Ltd in Cambridgeshire on 1st - 7th July 2024. . .

Increasing our female workforce is an important task for BWSW and therefore we are offering a 50% discount on this particular coaching course (course fee only) for our female participants. 

Statistics show that women and girls are much less likely to participate in sport and physical activity than men and boys.  If those women are from culturally diverse backgrounds, have a disability and/or living in deprivation and poverty, they are much, much less likely to participate. Our membership database shows that over two thirds of our participants are male, and 75% of our current active coaches are male. It is clear that in order to develop the diversity of our participation base,  we must increase the diversity of our workforce. Having more female coaches will encourage more new female participants to try our sport.  It will also help existing female participants to consider becoming a coach which may redress the imbalance we currently have between the numbers of male and female coaches.
