Golds, Silver and Bronze Medals for GB Riders at Euros

British wakeboarders picked up five medals, including two golds, from separate European Championships which ended at the weekend.

 

The medals came in both cable and boat wakeboarding.

Stephanie Williams-Caller and Dale Crossley won gold medals at the IWWF Europe & Africa Youth and Senior Cable Wakeboard Championships in Turin, Italy.

Stephanie is the 2024 Masters Women (Over 30) Champion and Dale was victorious in Veteran Men (Over 40).

The weekend’s other medals came at the IWWF Europe & Africa Wakeboard Boat Championships in Toutainville in Normandy, France.

Marley O’Toole won silver in the Boys’ category.

Ross Phillips won bronze in the Veteran Men category in France. His twin brother Rich finished 5th. They were joined at the competition by Ross’s son, Ollie (12), who finished 9th in the Boys’ category.

The other medal at the Championships came courtesy of Kate Waldron who won bronze in Veteran Women.

The GB Team, which included 20 riders, aged 12 to 58, finished fourth overall.
