We are saddened to hear the news that Lord Snowdon, BWSW Patron since 1963 passed away on 13th January 2017 and our thoughts are with his family.
Lord Snowdon was best known publicly as a royal spouse, celebrity photographer, designer and in later life disability campaigner. However he also had a long term involvement in the sport of waterskiing particulalry in the 1960s and 70s when he regulalry took part in the cross channel ski races of the time. He became British Water Ski Federation Ltd Patron in 1963 and was an active competitor in the sport.
